I used to have braces, and even though the pain of having them tightened, I enjoyed picking the color of the bands I got.

Back in the "old days", you didn't get the color choice, or the "invisible" bands or retainers. And now, 30+ years later, the upper teeth have done well, but the lowers have move a little. But not to the point that I'd ever wear them again!

bsholic: i don't actually have to have the bands on mine, but i figure "you only live once"....that's why the deprivation is driving me nuts.

ray ray: you're supposed to thread the floss between the brackets and go from there. however, i don't have that much patience and rarely get around to flossing anyway.

that's all the time i have to comment now- it's been an hour since my last brushing....i guess i'm due for another round if i want my colors back in a few weeks.
